BMW might have started a trend when it commissioned the famous BMW ‘art cars’ including one painted by Andy Warhol but when Jesse Rooke met artist Taylor Reeve, he thought a collaborative effort would be very interesting and he was absolutely correct. Taylor worked her magic, putting an artistic touch on a Rooke Scrambler, taking an already unique machine (almost a work of art by itself), and turning it into a one-of-a-kind melding of mechanical and fine arts. It’s a creation that’s equally at home on the road or in an art gallery. Taylor, who paints mainly on canvas (the kind you hang on the wall as well as the kind you wear on your feet), recently featured the Rooke Scrambler in her show at the neue transit STUDIO in the art district of Santa Ana, California. Only 100 individually numbered bikes will be offered, designed by Jesse Rooke and manufactured by Swift Motorcycles.
